Another week and another set of quality tunes to inflict upon an unsuspecting Island. If only the web streaming was up, I could broadcast to the whole planet!!! Ah well, just another couple of weeks to wait I'm told.

Peter Bjorn and John - Young Folks (Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve Remix)

The original version of this is the feelgood song of the winter (northern hemisphere) summer and is a song that is singlehandledly restoring whistling to its rightful place in pop! This 'Beyond the Wizzard' Sleeve' 'remix is beautifully stretched out, emphasising the bass and samples enough of the words and whistling to make cheer up even the most miserable of punters!!!

Ha ha - Have just been surfing around and found out that 'Beyond the Wizzard's Sleeve' are an alter ego of Riton and my (second) favourite Uber-muso - Erol Alkan. Well there's a thing! :-)
